Who are Cash4uNow?

Cash4uNow is a trading name of Novaloans, which is a company based in Leeds. They have been operating since 2011.

What kind of loans do they offer?

They offer payday loans and instalment loans, although you apply for both at the same time. You can specify the amount of time that you want to borrow for, up to 6 months.
If you borrow under £150, you can only borrow it for 1 month, and up until £190 is only available with a maximum of 3 months. For any other amounts, you can borrow up to a maximum of 6 months.

How much can you apply for?

With Cash4uNow, you can apply for payday loans of up to £400 if you’re a new customer. If you’ve used them before, you can apply for up to £750.

How quickly can they supply the loan?

If you pay the optional £10 Faster Payments transfer fee, they can transfer the money to you either by 6pm the same day or 9am the following day (depending what time of day you apply). If not, it’ll take 3-5 days to be transferred to your account.

What do they charge?

It varies depending on how long you want to borrow for. For payday loans of one month, you’ll repay around £30 per £100.
For instalment loans, it gets more expensive overall the longer you borrow for, however you’ll pay less per month. So, if you borrow £200 for 2 months, you’ll repay £292 with 2 monthly repayments of £146. If you borrow £200 for 6 months, you’ll repay £379.98 with 6 monthly repayments of £63.33.

How do their charges work?

On a payday loan, you pay a flat fee for the month that you borrow, so you’re not charged by the day. This means, if you repay early on a payday loan, you’ll still repay the same interest amount.
On instalment loans, you can repay early by phoning them. You may also receive a rebate of some of the interest you’ve earned if this is the case, although you’ll need to call them to find out specifics.

What optional charges do they have?

If you want the money the same day (or the next morning, depending on what time you apply), you’ll need to pay a £10 charge. This will be taken from the amount you borrow (so if you borrow £500, you’ll pay £490).

Do they charge penalties?

If you do not repay on time, you will be charged a missed payment fee of £12. If it is referred to their collections process, you will be charged a collection fee of £25. Interest will also continue to gather on the account.

Do they have TV adverts?
