KwikCash FAQ

Am I eligible to apply?

You need to be at least 18 years old in order to apply for a loan with KwikCash. You will also need to be employed with a regular income and be a UK resident with a UK bank account.

What lenders do you work with?

We work with a large number of lenders, many of whom you will recognise from TV campaigns.

When we process your application, we will show you the best loan offer that we receive – usually within three minutes of your application.

In most cases, this is enough time to show your application to all of our lenders, but we don't want to keep you waiting if we don't hear back from a lender in time.

Why should I apply with KwikCash?

There are many good reasons, but one of the biggest benefits is you will only need to apply once.

How much can I apply for?

You can apply for up to £2,000 through KwikCash.co.uk.

Is there an application charge?

No. There is no application charge. Our service is completely free and if you progress through to a lender to accept a loan offer, we won't charge you a penny. The only reason we ask for your bank details is so they can be passed to the lender.

Do you keep my data secure?

Your application information is protected using encryption technology and we keep all our data on secure servers.

We do not pass your details to anyone outside of the lending process nor do we sell your data on.

Are all the loans short term loans?

You can apply for any loan between 3-12 months and up to £2000

If you need a loan for a larger amount, or spread over a longer term, you may need to look at alternative products such as a guarantor loan.

Why are all the APRS so high?

Annual percentage rates were designed as a way to allow customers to compare different kinds of loans in a consistent way.

If you were taking out a mortgage for ten years, you could compare it with one over twenty years, and see which mortgage was charging you more interest overall.

The APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is a standard European regulation that need to be displayed for all loan products. The APR itself is a calculation that is based on an assumed 12 months of borrowing.

The APR for short term loans can often appear high, because the term of the loan is much shorter. At Kwik Cash our minimum loan term is 3 months.

This means that although the representative APR shown is calculated by multiplying and compounding the interest repeatedly over a 12 month period, the actual cost of the loan could be much lower if the term is less than 12 months.
